Inserting slide from other file and copy slide in OO Impress from code still missing :(
Comment by Poky at August 30, 2003 11:45 AM | PermalinkIt would be nice, to use all those programs which use excel to do some tasks (like import) through ole(COM,activex or what is it..) or scripting, with OpenOffice. Without it, you can't completelly replace MSOffice with oo. :-(
And the startup times! Finnaly! Will it be really comparable to MS products? (i've got 5sec. first time and then less than 1sec. on really slow computer)
i am calling for improved font kerning and general font rendering as this is the worst done thing in OOo for me..
keep up the good work.
cheers,

I read the documents and most of it sounds quite cool and interesting. I think with 2.0 I will definitely check OpenOffice out. I also very much liked the style of the product concept document. I would like to have such a document for Mozilla too, where Newbies can be pointed at what to expect from future releases and also for users of old releases who ask, what new features have crept in.
