Why are the documents red and not white/blue as in Windows?

Because it's not only for windows ?
Comment by blackfox at February 20, 2004 09:19 PM | PermalinkThe bug suggests very strongly that these icons are only tempoary and that the visual identity team are working on a nicer set of icons. Which is, in my opinion, A Good Thing. Apparently, the redness of the icons is supposed to assosiate them with Mozilla. Of course, there's no evidedence that such a thing will work.
I think the Mac platform has some pretty specific icon guidelines which we'd do well to copy on all platforms.
