The bug suggests very strongly that these icons are only tempoary and that the visual identity team are working on a nicer set of icons. Which is, in my opinion, A Good Thing. Apparently, the redness of the icons is supposed to assosiate them with Mozilla. Of course, there's no evidedence that such a thing will work.
I think the Mac platform has some pretty specific icon guidelines which we'd do well to copy on all platforms.Comment by jgraham at February 21, 2004 04:04 PM | Permalink
i'de like to set firefox .08's original icon to my .htm, .html, etc . . files, in windows i set my htmls to open with firefox but the icons still stay to the ugly windows default unknown icon, anyone have this problem?Comment by tim at April 12, 2004 06:38 AM | Permalink
