Mozilla Firefox 0.9 is out
The Mozilla Foundation today released Mozilla Firefox 0.9, and now begins its final push towards a 1.0 release of Firefox. New features in this release include a new default theme, a new browser migration tool, reworked theme and extension managers, a much smaller download size, a new help system, and many small bug fixes and speed tweaks.
Not that anyone has missed it, but go get Firefox 0.9 while it's hot!...TrackBack from Firefox 0.9 at June 15, 2004 08:14 PM | Permalink
It doesn't look like Linky works with Firefox 0.9 - has it been updated to the new extension architecture?Comment by Jemaleddin at June 16, 2004 11:31 AM | Permalink
FF 0.9 works, TBE & Adblock work, but my third most liked extension ;) Linky doesn't.Comment by mhewitt at June 16, 2004 02:19 PM | Permalink
Linky 2.1.0 should hit the download mirrors soon:
Thank, Gemal! I forgot to delete the install files before installing the new one, but using the interface to uninstall and then reinstalling worked.Comment by Jemaleddin at June 17, 2004 12:00 PM | Permalink
Linky 2.1.0 on Firefox 0.9 fails to do "Download selected links". It shows the download dialog, I select a dir, press download, dialog closes, nothing happens.Comment by hojtsy at June 24, 2004 12:38 AM | Permalink
Just as for hojtsy, Linky 2.1.0 doesn't allow to download selected links! Download dialog box opens, u can select the folder to dl to, press download and nothing happens! Anyone knows if this would be fixed in releases soon to come?
Seems that the developper temporarily disabled the "Download links" feature in 2.1.0. What a pity!Comment by hojtsy at July 18, 2004 10:51 PM | Permalink
