On one hand, I really like the Favicons, on the other hand, it's a little frustrating to see how many visits you get compared to mine - because after I commented in that post back then, my hits (not visits) went havoc, and oh wonder, most of them were requests for my Favicon :-)

Henrik - with this version of Acronym, to get it to work I had to change the first line in mt-acronym.cgi to '#!/usr/bin/perl -w' . Otherwise I got a 500 Internal Server Error. Just thought you might want to be aware. Other than that, it looks good and is a worthwhile update :)

Neil T.: The #!/usr/bin/perl -w is because the perl on my machine is at #!/usr/local/perl/bin/perl -w

Guido: I did a lot of testing and perhaps that's why you got a lot of requests. Sorry about that.
Favicon now cache's URL's for a week so the request havoc should have gone away now.

Fantastic! Ever since I noticed the favicons on your site, I've been hoping you'd release such a plugin. One question: have you thought about licensing what sort of license you'd like to release it under?

Great stuff, but on my ibook, when I click on the 'zip' link it doesn't seem to work (or unzip anything.) I'm guessing this is something to do w/zip working for win & not mac? (Am brand new to my mac, so if this is a stupid user error on my part, many apologies!!)

Your acronym plugin looks like it would be really useful for my site. Any plans to upgrade to MT4?

Thanks,
Jonathan
