Thunderbird just got simpler SMTP user interface

Bug 202468, which is about "Simpler, more consolidated UI for SMTP server settings" just got fixed.
The current Outgoing Server Settings are awful to me. Only one SMTP Server is direct available, for more you've to click on Advanced (this button alone is badly named, should be More or Further ones). And then another click to add/edit the server.

That's definately great news! Just yesterday was I fiddling with TB's SMTP settings, and was amazed how counter-intuitive it felt.

Excellent !!!

Just a question:
Is the "Always Use Default Server" account option still there? (i mean: in the list of smtp server on the account settings screen).

It is important for multiple account setting on a PC portable to have this to be able to change "in one time operation" all the smtp settings of all account simply by specify the "default" smtp account. It is the case in thunderbird 1.0, i hope it will the case also with this new smtp interface.

I entered a bugzilla entry ages (can't remember the id off hand ) to allow cycling of servers as well, so that if one of the servers configured is unavailable to cycle and retry on the next.

This would be usefull in say moving a laptop from an ISP account to a LAN account where different outgoing servers are required.
