Yes, most of you have seen something like this before. "Oh no! The Internet invades my privacy on a very personal level! Microsoft left a back door in IE so their marketing gurus can tell what my cat has for lunch whenever I visit their site!" - well it seems like that sometimes. This is a very comprehensive site that will show you just what a remote server can find out about your system, just from you loading a web page. I've had it with this internet thing now, you know. I'm going back to hand carving IP packets out of wood and distributing them via pneumatic tubes. Anyone know if I can get a Flash plugin for my bandsaw?

How many of you really know your browser? I mean, really know it. Do you know where it goes after you've gone to bed? Do you know if it's stealing money from you? Do you know who it's hanging out with lately? I bet you didn't even know that your browser already had its period. Or that it has a boyfriend now. No, you wouldn't know because you don't spend the time to ask it and find out what's happening in its life. So your browser comes to me and wants advice. Then I go to Browser Spy and get all the answers and then come back to your browser and give it the answers it so desires. And in case you were wondering, it's been sleeping at my house for the last three weeks. And all those interesting new books that you see it reading but are too afraid to confront your browser about? Well, I give them to it. Because I'm the only one it has right now, or as your browser put it, I'm "...the only one who can clear my cache properly."

Congratulations Henrik you have won the award !!Because: I realy like the design if the page .. kinda rememberd me of the older design of www.sandman.net (swedish page) I did`nt have time to check how you made the browser info but I guess it was CGI and maybe some JavaScript anyway it`s enough to impress me.. the only thing that seemd strange was the menus on the left .. I could not understand why you want through all the trouble making imagemaps for each section and not tables .. well I guess you had a great reason for that to. All in all a kickass site !!Score: 9/10 Excelent :)

After all, I know all about my browser. Then I was over at a clueless friend's house, and I used it to find all the Netscape plugins he had in about one second, and I thought, "This is a nice little trick!"Forget your HostName or IP Address? Or want to know the one your friend's computer is connected to? BrowserSpy tells you instantly. I know, there's lots of other ways to get this information, but this is a super-easy one, and two seconds after you've found out, you can check screen settings, including color depth. and lots of other stuff, too.Some features will only work in NN, some will only work in MSIE, and a few won't work at all until/unless you have a 5.x browser. Ever get the feeling like someone's looking over your shoulder? I guess I'm not too worried about website cookies (they gather "harmless" information about my surfing habits). Some people believe that cookies came straight from the seventh level of hell. I guess I've seen and dealt with worse. But, the question is, what can websites find out about you by using JavaScript? Well, they can't detect the color of your hair yet, but you'd be surprised at just how much information they can get. Try spying on yourself...
